Terms & Conditions

Artifauna is a small business based in Sydney, Australia. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, including our Privacy  Policy Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Returns and Refund Policy.

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

 

Website & platform

Our website is built on WordPress and operates as a storefront and brand platform. Orders are processed and fulfilled via third-party print-on-demand systems operated by The Print Bar (Australia) and its authorised infrastructure partners.

 

Product fulfilment

All products are made-to-order and produced individually after purchase.

By placing an order, you acknowledge:

Orders are automatically forwarded to The Print Bar for production

Each item is custom made and not held in stock

Production begins shortly after order submission

 

Order changes and cancellations

Once an order has been submitted, it is immediately sent to production.

Orders may not be able to be changed or cancelled once production has begun. We will attempt to assist where possible if contacted immediately after purchase.

 

Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, branding, and content are the property of Artifauna and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

 

Customer accounts

An account may be automatically created when you place an order through our checkout system. This account is used only for order management and customer support purposes.

 

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

delays caused by third-party production or shipping providers

courier delays or delivery failures

indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Disputes, Chargebacks & Payment Defence

By completing a purchase, you agree to the following:

Order proof and fulfilment records

All orders are:

time-stamped at checkout

automatically processed by The Print Bar

recorded with production and shipping logs

tracked via carrier delivery systems

These records are used as official proof of fulfilment.

 

Delivery confirmation

An order is considered fulfilled when:

it has been produced by The Print Bar, and

it has been handed to a shipping carrier, and

tracking has been issued

After dispatch, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier.

 

Chargebacks and disputes

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, we will provide evidence including:

order confirmation

production records

shipping tracking

delivery scans

customer communications

We actively defend all invalid chargebacks where goods have been produced or shipped.

 

Invalid dispute reasons

The following are not valid grounds for chargebacks where fulfilment has occurred:

change of mind

incorrect size, colour, or design selected by the customer

incorrect shipping address entered

courier delays outside our control

 

Fraud protection

We reserve the right to:

refuse or cancel suspected fraudulent orders

provide evidence to payment processors

restrict future purchases from abusive accounts
